Fabric scraps, anyone?
When GladRags are produced, some fabric offcuts are left in the wake. We don’t know what to do with these extra heaps of fabric. Some people have used them for quilting and other projects, but we still have a lot leftover. If you think you could do something with flannel or terrycloth scraps, let us know.

Shoutout to all those great guys (Father’s Day inspired)Last month, we paid homage to the wonderful motherly figures in the world and this month we’re spreading the love to the men out there. Some people think that men and menstruation don’t mix, but we’ve been endlessly surprised at the reaction that dads and other men like brothers, guy friends and coworkers have had towards GladRags. Before I worked for GladRags, my friend, Ursula, and I would talk to all of our guy friends about cloth pads and menstrual cups and they often listened more attentively and without embarrassment than the women sitting next to them. Sara’s brother was kind enough to always carry feminine hygiene products in his car in case of an emergency. And no girlfriend told him to do this; he did it on his own (how great is that?!). My friend, Brad (featured in the picture), even bought menstrual alternatives for his fiancé (also featured in the picture) for Valentine’s Day! To all the men out there supporting women and their cycles and to all the dads empowering daughters to care for their bodies and their planet, we salute you! ~ Diana |
